Sebastian Sanchez
Sebastian has been writing songs for nearly 30 years, creating original music that blends Latin rock, pop, reggae, funk, and alternative sounds. Born in Colombia, he spent 15 years in Montreal before settling in Nova Scotia in 2021. His solo performances—voice and electric guitar—are vibrant, rhythmic, and emotionally charged, with lyrics in Spanish and occasionally English that explore themes of connection, resilience, and transformation. In addition to performing, Sebastian uses music as a tool for community building, education, and collective expression. He leads music-based activities, workshops, and events that foster connection across cultures and generations. Now based in Bridgewater, he shares his work with both Spanish- and English-speaking audiences, offering an uplifting and meaningful experience rooted in authenticity.

Bringing my Latin Music to this well-known farm! Come!

The invitation to this marvelous event came about in the best way possible.

Right after I got off the stage during the July 1st performance, Brian Fralic from the South Shore Multicultural Association approached me with a super nice couple who owns the Pembees Gardens farm, and they told me they would love it if I joined them during their Saturday 26th event, which will be including many other bands!

I immediately said yes because this sounded like a signal in the direction I'm heading: the ambitious musician's path!

This is going to be really special, and I can't wait to perform that day!
