Sebastian Sanchez
Sebastian has been writing songs for nearly 30 years, creating original music that blends Latin rock, pop, reggae, funk, and alternative sounds. Born in Colombia, he spent 15 years in Montreal before settling in Nova Scotia in 2021. His solo performances—voice and electric guitar—are vibrant, rhythmic, and emotionally charged, with lyrics in Spanish and occasionally English that explore themes of connection, resilience, and transformation. In addition to performing, Sebastian uses music as a tool for community building, education, and collective expression. He leads music-based activities, workshops, and events that foster connection across cultures and generations. Now based in Bridgewater, he shares his work with both Spanish- and English-speaking audiences, offering an uplifting and meaningful experience rooted in authenticity.

 This was a great night even if the the only video I have is this short snippet where you can hear my guitar and Jake Wentzell´s drums playing while people are dancing. 

I give most of the credit to Jake because he jumped in to play all of my songs having only practiced a few hours that same day.
